Over at
Vintage Ads, there's a
gross foods ad contest. I've noticed that the most disgusting foods are ones that look like either
vomit or
poop. Take this ham-and-rice dish:
That TOTALLY looks like
barf!
The dish to the right is a
total mess. It calls for cheese, salami, meatloaf, beans, and bloody-looking ketchup.
The bean, eggs, and ham recipe to the left has a unique "
eyeballs floating on poop" look to it, don't you think?
The
grossest of the ads might be the "
Empress Meat Loaf with Mushroom Stuffing."
To me, all that brownish-gray stuff just looks really DEAD.
