Poop of the Cave Hyena

Sometimes, you glance at a story, and the first sentence just sucks you in. Like this one:
For the first time...a fossil hyena dropping was trawled from the North Sea.
Wow! How could I NOT read on and learn that this ancient poop was from a cave hyena that lived in northern Europe over 30,000 years ago? And how come all the Ice Age mammals were either wooly (wooly mammoth, wooly rhino), cave-ey (cave hyena, cave lion, cave bear), or just plain BIG (giant deer)?
