David Bennett and Dawg Poop

I just read a story that football coach David Bennett tells his players. It seems Bennett was walking to his office and he decided to cut a corner of the sidewalk and walk across the grass to his office.

But once inside, he said to himself, “Ew, what’s that dadgum smell?”

He looked down to see that he had stepped in some dog poop.

“The moral of the story is that you should never take shortcuts,” he said. “It’ll always get you into trouble.”

Hmm. Are you sure the moral isn’t that you should look where you’re walking? Anyway, it's not gross, but just in case you haven't seen David Bennett tell a story, you're in for a treat.
