Who wants to sit on the Iron Throne toilet?

Actually, I think I'll pass on taking a seat on this Game of Thrones toilet. Still, good on the DIY dude who built it!

Make "All About Poop" happen!

Here's a Kickstarter project I can get behind: A book All About Poop!
But it needs a little more help to happen. Please consider donating to the project. Ooh, here's a nice graphic from the project. Genius!

Here's a great idea...

Let's make a pizza with hot dogs in the crust? What do you think? Genius right?
Oh good grief. Never mind.
(If you dare, here's how to make it.)

Brains in a jar. Yum.

Over at Living Locurto is a cool DIY for your own edible brains in a jar.

It's sort of a cupcake thing ... like a medulla oblongata under glass.

I like!

Disgusting Things in Jars Are Yummy

thinginajar - 44 by oskay
This is one of the finest DIYs ever! If you head over to EvilMadScientist, there's instructions on making grotesque and disgusting specimen jars that you can open up and eat! (This freaks people out, natch.)

For example, see the jar in the bottom right corner above that says "Unknown parasite no. 4"? It starts with bamboo shoots!
Then you get a jar . . .
. . . and now go read the post!

How to Make Fake Poop!

This idea for DIY fake poop is so simple and awesome, it's sheer genius. And like all my genius ideas, someone else came up with it!

In this case, I learned about DIY fake poop from The Bearded Iris blog. And with Iris Beard's permission, let's get to it!

1.) Get an empty toilet paper roll and a bowl of water.

2.) Unroll the toilet paper roll and submerge it underwater until it's soggy.

Let it get REALLY soggy. Soggified!

3.) When you think it's soggy enough, remove the toilet paper roll and start squeezing it into a poop shape.

Squeeze! Nobody's ever made good poop without squeezing. Okay, let's see what you've got.
What?! You call THAT poop? Keep squeezing! Put some elbow grease into it!

4.) Okay, now let's see what you've got.

Oh, NICE. Now you can sit back and enjoy the applause of people who admire your fake poop!

WARNING I: Someone may praise your DIY poop by saying, "It's turd-tacular!" If this happens, give that person 50 cents for being brave enough to say something that cheesy.

WARNING II: If you don't want to go to all this trouble making DIY fake poop, no big deal. After all, you make DIY real poop every day!

Thanks again to The Bearded Iris for the brilliant instructions and photos!

Crafts are fun!

Look, you can make your own Do-It-Yourself Coffin!

And depending on how big you make it, your coffin can work for pets AND people!

Also, note the line at the bottom of this book's cover:
A Schiffer Book for Woodworkers Who Want to Be Buried in Their Work.

Behold...the Meat Head!

Andy Oakland is a genius. How else could he have figured out how to make an edible head out of meat in five easy steps?

If you find yourself having any trouble with Andy's instructions (which are over here at Make: Projects), then I know just the guy who you could ask for help.

A Red Loo Where You Can Poo!

You’ve seen these red telephone booths from Great Britain before, right? Well, they’re so cool looking, people use them for all sorts of things. For example, you can see that a Portland person has one in their front yard!

And an Englishman named John Long was even MORE creative. He converted a red booth into a mini-bathroom! It comes complete with toilet, sink, and a heater so you can stay warm in the frosty winter months.

Best of all, the clear glass has been replaced with frosted glass, so you can have a little privacy while you poo in the red loo! But since it’s outdoors, does anyone actually USE this thing? “To be honest, I probably use it more often than the internal lavatory now,” Long says. “It's just so convenient.” I’ll bet, you lucky guy, you!

Addition: Ziggy Nixon has penned a poem for this occasion!

A Red Loo Where You Can Poo!
A red loo where you can poo
Can you imagine anything much nicer?
Better things there are only few
Like beer fetching dogs and pizza slicers!

Oh if I had such a place, a magic can
To do my daily deeds and thinkin’,
I’d be a content fellow, a happy man
In the yard, with no cares if I be stinkin’!

And do mine eyes to me be lying
But it comes with built-in heater?
For such a throne I would be dying
This magic seat, a wondrous world beater!

Now you may think it most strange
To convert such a rare red phoning booth!
But if you’ve ever had to go on the range
You know that alternatives are much less couth!

And so John Long from English shores
I salute your brilliant invention!
Now excuse me as I close the doors
It’s time to let loose my colonic retention!

“This skull bone’s connected to the YUM bone!”

"The skull! It burns!"

The idea of the Nomskull is that you fill a skull mold with batter and then bake a skull-shaped cake. (I can’t tell if the brain part is frosting that got squirted on later, but it sort of looks like it.)

Speaking of yummy heads, here’s an interesting dish being served at the Comic Con in San Diego. Jar-Jar Binks never looked more delicious!

You Gonna Eat That Bug?

A Japanese toymaker called Megahouse, is making “Gummix.” This is a DIY kit that allows kids to make their own edible bugs.

This seems kind of silly to me; why MAKE edible bugs when you can just pick them up off of the floor?

Vomit Flashlight? Cool!

Want to make your very own flashlight? Me either.

But what if THIS flashlight could make people puke? Now you're interested!

The flashlight in question is based on a military design called the "sea-sick" flashlight (aka, the Dazzler). It gives off a strobe that confuses the brain's operation and can result in a massive gut-dump.

So if you took it camping and a bear attacked you, you could just use your flashlight on the enraged beast, and it would do a gut-dump on your pup tent! How-to video below (from here).
