"Good luck with the test, son. Wait, you have your Koala poop, right?"

Hey, look! I’ve paraphrased this fascinating article:
Via.
In Japan, gaining into top universities is the first step in the right direction in adult life. Recently, this has come in the form of poop from Koala bears, which an increasing number of Japanese high school students are carrying to college admission exam sites.
One zoo even gave away free Koala bear feces to exam takers. The poop disappeared in less than 10 minutes.
The reasoning is the fact that Koala bears hang on to trees for more than 20 hours at a time to sleep without falling off.

So it’s hoped the tenacity of the lovable bears will rub off on those who have to take the exams.
But the test-takers should be careful. Tenacity is fine, but OTHER things could rub off as well…namely Koala poop!

This miracle cure gives me great diarrhea!

From China:

Thousands of Chinese disciples seeking a cure from a so called holy spring said to cure any illness got to the bottom of its miraculous powers—when it gave them all diarrhea.

The spring, in eastern China, is famed locally for washing away skin blemishes.

But thousands of visitors during China's Moon Festival decided to drink the healing waters instead, only to find themselves stricken with upset stomachs.

"People were lining all through the night to get to the water but then they started to form another line—for the public toilets," said one local.

"We warned them not to drink it but they thought we were trying to keep it to ourselves.

When we drink it we boil it first."

What does a Russian cosmonaut do before blasting off into outer space?

“On their way to the launch, Russian cosmonauts are known to urinate on the right rear wheel of their transfer bus, an act supposedly performed by Yuri Gagarin. Female cosmonauts are excused, but certain women have been known to carry vials of their urine to spill in solidarity.”

From a Wired article about outer space superstitions. Read it!
