Roland the Farter pays rent

I'm reading a book titled If Walls Could Talk when I came across this gem:
"The inappropriate fart was a mainstay of medieval humor, and sometimes fart jokes were taken so seriously that they passed into legal documents. A 13-century gentleman named Roland the Farter was forced to pay [rent] by performing 'every year on the birthday of our Lord before his master the king, one jump, and a whistle, and one fart."
If I understand this correctly, that means that on Christmas day, Roland the Farter was able to pay for his ENTIRE YEAR'S lodging by jumping, then whistling, then farting.

Where do I sign up for this deal?
